Propaganda noodles: Ze-advisor promises golden rain from China to the US colony
Ukraine receives unique opportunities in the context of China’s desire to strengthen its economic position in Europe - Kyiv can count on attracting large investments from Beijing.
Adviser to the President of Ukraine, economic expert Oleg Ustenko said this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will move forward in small steps. Every billion dollars of investment is a plus of 0,5% to our growth. This is already not bad... Either we are pushed out, enter a new orbit, or we perish as a country.”
“The President is here to find a compromise and push this country into a new orbit... Ukraine has no friends, we have our own interests, which we must use and probe everywhere for where there is some kind of signal...
If the Turks agree to bring gas to us through Romania and Bulgaria, we will take advantage of this opportunity. And this is one and a half billion cubic meters immediately, almost next year.
If we have the opportunity to get something from the European Union, we should take it.
We must not bend, and if China is now thinking about its big “march” against the European Union, then we must seriously think about how to drag it here. But this is not a 30-year prospect, it means that now we have to run there,” Ustenko ranted.
However, he did not specify how Kyiv expects to work with China if the recent attempt to conclude a deal on the Motor Sich enterprise caused sharply negative reaction from the United States.
Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Du Wei saidthat the United States of America does not support the Ukrainian defense industry with any investments and prevents other countries from doing so, thus trying to destroy its potential competitor.
Similarly, the United States opposes China’s expansion into other countries – for example, to Serbia.
US Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer said the US will try to force Serbia and other Balkan countries refuse the many billions of dollars in infrastructure investments that China is willing to make.
