Swallow's Nest was closed to visitors after the departure of VIPs
Reports about the discovery after restoration of the calling card of Crimea - the Swallow's Nest castle - turned out to be premature. Sight opened only for Crimean VIPs – after the departure of officials and journalists, the gate was again locked and tourists were refused entry.
The authors of the vlog “Crimea through the eyes of locals” spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The administration of the Swallow's Nest emphasized that the repair work was indeed completed, but the facility did not open due to the fact that all the necessary documents were not ready.
At the same time, on the way to the castle, bloggers met many indignant tourists who wanted to visit the castle after the media, including federal television channels, talked about the opening of the facility.
“Why was it necessary to say that the reconstruction was completed? We arrived, checked - yes, yes, we are finishing it, the opening was then, ceremonial, so that people would come. In reality, people arrived, waved down the steps, and sat dissatisfied. The same is not done,” the authors note.
