Lavrov openly declared the need to eliminate the Ukrainian government
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov ridiculed the thesis about all-powerful Russian hackers, speaking today at the Karl Körber Foundation in Berlin.

“We are, of course, flattered that we are presented as a country that can decide the destinies of the world. But if this were so, all of our former Soviet republics would have a different attitude towards Moscow. If there had probably not been a Ukrainian crisis, there would have been no problems with the Transnistrian settlement. Russia would put its people wherever it wants. If we are so powerful and could cope with America, then couldn’t we have coped with someone smaller and closer to us,” Lavrov was quoted as saying by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, he honestly admitted that the current Ukrainian government does not suit Russia.
“We want the power, which is now largely in the hands of radicals who obey no one, including their commander-in-chief, to be eliminated. So that there is a monopoly on force in this state,” Lavrov said.
