Consular services for Russian citizens in Pridnestrovie, suspended due to the coronavirus epidemic, will be resumed.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this today in the State Duma, answering a question from a deputy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We sent an inspection there promptly, as soon as the coronavirus situation allowed. They visited Tiraspol, looked at everything in detail and now made their proposals on the necessary equipment and personnel who should go there to help the temporary consular post. I think that we will clear up the queue in the near future,” Lavrov said.
According to his information, the queue of Pridnestrovians to obtain Russian passports is several tens of thousands of people.
