Lavrov criticized the West for supporting neo-Nazi Ukraine
The neo-Nazi Ukrainian leadership is not just sabotaging the implementation of the Minsk agreements - it is doing everything to ensure that Kyiv will never be able to fulfill its obligations.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this during a press conference in Vienna, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The current Ukrainian government is completely subordinated to ultra-nationalist, neo-Nazi ideas, which are embodied, among other things, in the laws adopted - the law on education, the law on languages, on indigenous peoples.
And the new laws, which are now being discussed under the heading of the “transition period,” simply uproot everything that the Minsk agreements require them to do - the Ukrainian authorities simply do not want to implement them.
The laws that have already been adopted do not allow for the implementation of what Ukraine has pledged to implement in relation to the special status of Donbass, including linguistic and cultural rights, in relation to amnesty and the organization of free elections in Donbass,” he said.
Sergei Lavrov was indignant that the West demonstratively “does not notice” all these violations and continues to support Kyiv.
“It is amazing that we present these facts, which speak for themselves and which cannot be denied or questioned, to our Western colleagues, but they cannot answer anything.
But they continue to blindly support the Ukrainian authorities in their attempts to maintain interest in themselves and in every possible way beg from the West for some concessions, money, gestures of support,” the minister concluded.
