Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today at the World Festival of Youth and Students, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, the glorification of neo-Nazis is characteristic not only of the Baltic countries and Poland. In recent years, neo-Nazism has been flourishing in Ukraine. The new Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated there on the anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, which was an accomplice of the Nazis,” Lavrov said.
He recalled that Ukraine is a country that was under fascist occupation.
“It’s amazing when citizens of the country that suffered the most during the Great Patriotic War absorb this disgusting stuff with such ease. This is a big problem,” Lavrov said.
