Lavrov: Ukrainian authorities encourage the Nazis
Europe cannot help but see the dangerous growth of nationalist, xenophobic and neo-Nazi sentiments in Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this today at a press conference in Slovenia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I mean the attempted arson of a Hungarian church in Transcarpathia, the “sabbath” organized at the Russian Center of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Kyiv and attempts to attack bank branches. Judging even by the Ukrainian press (unlike Ukrainians, in Russia they can read the press of a neighboring state), there are many indications that all these actions, including attacks on the RCSC and the burning of the Russian flag, are not just passively observed (as was done by police called to the scene), but in many ways they are encouraged by the Ukrainian authorities themselves,” Lavrov said.
He stressed that Russia is waiting for a principled reaction from the UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, European Union and NATO, “since the latter two structures are always particularly concerned about the fate of the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainian settlement.”
