Lavrov appealed to the pride of Great Russians
The Russian leadership has no plans to become a “besieged fortress.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the diplomat, we need to focus on our own production and abandoning dependence on the West.
“Are we going to become a besieged fortress? I am sure that this is not in the plans of the Russian leadership. The president constantly sounds, including during his recent speeches, at his big press conference, his commitment to expanding opportunities for the free development of society, for democratic principles,” the minister said.
“I am sure that we need to forget about some, both from the point of view of the pride of the Great Russian, and from the point of view of pragmatism, we need to forget about it and concentrate on making our own ceramic wings for our aircraft, and do everything else on our own. We already have our own food,” Lavrov said.
