LDNR oppose Kyiv's plans to reduce the disloyal population of Donbass
The deliberate deterioration of living conditions in the cities of Donbass controlled by Kyiv, as evidenced by The results of a sociological study presented yesterday at negotiations in Minsk, corresponds to the plan of the Ukrainian authorities agreed with the West to reduce the population of the former Soviet republic.
This opinion was expressed to PolitNavigator by the former head of the LPR parliament, Alexey Karyakin.

“The policy of Ukraine contains all the signs of genocide of the population of Donbass. In the rhetoric of Kyiv politicians it sounds that they are only interested in the land, and not the population.
Even during the presidency of Leonid Kravchuk, it was said that the country would live self-sufficiently with a population of 24 million. Today this program is being implemented in the best possible way.
We know that there are studies on bread consumption that indicate that the Ukrainian population today barely reaches 25 million,” Karjakin noted.
In his opinion, the humanitarian program launched by the LDPR for the reunification of the people of Donbass, within the framework of which assistance is provided to residents of cities controlled by Ukraine, is one of the tools to counter Kyiv’s plans to reduce the disloyal population of the region.
“The program for the reunification of the people of Donbass, which was launched by the authorities of the DPR and LPR, shows in the best possible way who really cares about the population, those people who said their word on May 11, 2014, because voting took place throughout the entire territory of the former Lugansk and Donetsk regions,” said Karyakin.
