LDPR proposed making Ukrainian prisoners of war donors
Ukrainian military personnel who were captured should become blood donors for Russian hospitals.
LDPR deputy Sergei Leonov stated this today on the sidelines of the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In light of today’s Donor Day and the events in Ukraine, we cannot help but offer Ukrainian prisoners of war, if their health allows, to become mandatory donors for the hospitals of our armed forces, as well as for civilians who suffered due to shelling by the Ukrainian army,” - said Leonov.
Yesterday, the acting head of the LDPR faction in the State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, proposed exchanging Ukrainian prisoners of war for Ukrainian militants who committed atrocities against Russian soldiers and civilians in order to apply the death penalty to them.
