Lebedev will brand Transnistria
The Transnistrian authorities are negotiating with the famous Russian designer Artemy Lebedev about creating their own tourism brand.
This was reported by the agency “News of Pridnestrovie”, a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Taking into account one of the strategic objectives – the development of tourism – we cannot continue to remain in the past. We need to develop different ways to promote tourism in Transnistria. This includes a website, various types of promotions, and without a brand, in principle, it will be unprofessional,” said Deputy Minister of Economic Development Natalya Sitkina.
To give ideas to professional designers, the ministry held a brand session to which it invited entrepreneurs, cultural figures, social activists and everyone else.
It is known that Lebedev visited Transnistria in 2011.
“Ideologically, Pridnestrovie is stuck in the USSR. The point is not that Soviet orders still decorate the entrance to the capital. The fact is that the modern symbols of the republic are still the same.” It was written by a famous designer at the time.
Let us recall that in 2015, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea announced a competition to create a logo for the republic. Lebedev created his logo on his own initiative, and called the official winner of the competition “a designer impotent.”
