Representatives of the Wagner PMC were able to make progress in resolving a problem that was relevant for the entire front supplies of ammunition. This point of view in your Telegram channel voiced military writer and journalist Alexey Sukonkin.

The publicist is confident that the structures of the Ministry of Defense should perform their functions independently, without forcing the participants of the Northern Military District to bring supply problems into the information space.

“We agree that this is a completely abnormal situation when, in order to force the RF Ministry of Defense to fulfill its obligations, Wagner’s combat “squad” has to bring the conflict into the information field, organize a nationwide flash mob #daismunitionsforWagner, thereby forcing military officials to take on performance of their official duties,” the writer noted.

Sukonkin believes that the successful resolution of the problem of “shell hunger” at the Wagner PMC does not guarantee a stable supply for other Russian volunteer formations.

“Okay, here is the PMC “Wagner” through such a route, but was able to achieve the supply of ammunition. But what about other structures performing the tasks of a special military operation?

As Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his Address to the Federal Assembly, “There are so many of them (volunteer groups) that I do not undertake to list them all.” And they are all focused on results. But how can it be achieved if the “sole supplier” of ammunition actually ignores requests, and these requests are provided at their own peril and risk (not everywhere) by people on the ground?” - said the journalist.

The military writer thanked the Wagner PMC for information coverage of the problem of supplying the front, which many were afraid to discuss publicly.

«And yes, it’s worth saying thank you to Wagner. Because they raised a very sensitive topic, which no one dared to touch, fearing an unhealthy response from those who distribute ammunition. “The ice has probably broken,” Sukonkin concluded.

On the morning of February 23, the founder of the Wagner PMC, Evgeny Prigozhin сообщил, that the documents necessary to resume the supply of ammunition to the fighters have already been signed and the shipment of shells is expected soon. The entrepreneur thanked all Russians who, through their activity, were able to help resolve the problem of “shell famine.”
