Legal business in Ukraine is rapidly collapsing
Kyiv, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The number of people employed in small and medium-sized businesses is decreasing. Oksana Prodan, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, chairman of the public organization “Fortetsya”, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“There are fewer and fewer small and medium-sized businesses. There are two reasons: a decrease in economic activity and mobilization. Only in February was the procedure for compensating payments to mobilized workers adopted, which was previously something entrepreneurs had to do. Before this, many entrepreneurs were forced to stop their activities because they were not able to compensate them.
On January 1, 2015, another argument appeared for the closure of legal businesses - the obligation to pay at least the full social contribution. This factor forces entrepreneurs to surrender registration permits en masse and close legal business activities,” says Oksana Prodan.
