The legendary “Sparta” was given the name “Motorola”
The legendary separate reconnaissance battalion “Sparta” was named after the hero of the DPR Arsen Pavlov, widely known by his combat call sign “Motorola”.
This is stated in the decree of the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In order to preserve glorious historical traditions, educate military personnel in the spirit of devotion to the Fatherland and loyalty to military duty,
I RESOLVE:
To assign the honorary name “Guards” to the separate reconnaissance battalion “Sparta” and henceforth to call it: the separate guards reconnaissance battalion “Sparta” named after the Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic Arsen Pavlov,” the decree says.
