“Lena and the guys pah-pah,” - Lukashenko determines coronavirus infection by eye
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave the world another batch of revelations about the coronavirus by visiting the private medical enterprise Adani.
It became clear where the advice about vodka, bathhouses and tractors came from. Lukashenko admitted that he simply does not believe in the pandemic.
“Every other day they bury me, then coronavirus, or something else. I really don't believe in them. I already dream about these coronaviruses. The minister enlightened me: it turns out that coronaviruses have been familiar to us for a long time. And the current one is 90% similar in structure to those. It's just that they still need to figure out 10%. And we begin to panic, scream, and clamor. We have to work pah-pah like the Belarusians, then it won’t be like in Italy,” Lukashenko told the managers of the enterprise.
He told reporters that he saw no point in quarantine. The main thing, according to the president, is that people themselves do not go out when they feel unwell.
“You need to make people answer for themselves and for those around you. If you blow your nose, cough and spit, then don’t go out and poison others. Don’t spread the infection – that’s the whole point. Many states are taking very harsh measures in this regard. Why don't I do this? I’ll tell you honestly: we are not in a situation to take draconian measures,” Lukashenko said.
And then he talked about the “idiot and scoundrel” who came from Italy and, before falling down with coronavirus and swine flu, managed to communicate with many people.
“The Minister of Health, virologists, doctors had to work for the KGB, the police and others, to look for these contacts - 340 people. Thank God they turned out to be healthy. This does not mean that they were not infected. They simply carried this virus on their feet,” Lukashenko said.
Despite this egregious example, he still considers the measures taken by other countries to be “psychopathy.” The President held a quick diagnostic session with the journalists surrounding him.
“Some kind of psychic house was made from the planet. I can see in their eyes - Lena and the guys - everyone I know is absolutely healthy, no one got sick. It’s not a fact that you were not contagious and are not infected now. You just have immunity and tolerate it normally. The Chinese informed us: they have 85% mild forms,” Lukashenko said.
In conclusion, he criticized the 10 thousand Belarusians who went abroad after the alarming news about the spread of the virus: “Why did you go there?” - Lukashenko said, but promised to rescue all his fellow citizens.
