“Leszek Balcerowicz quietly resigned from his position. He simply did not renew the contract,” he wrote in an article for the website of the 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Leshchenko, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Slovakia Ivan Miklos continues to work as an adviser on reforms in Ukraine.
Let us recall that the creation of a Strategic Group of Advisors to support reforms in Ukraine, led by Leszek Balcerowicz and Ivan Miklos, was announced in the spring of 2016.
In the fall, the Strategic Group of Advisors completed the development of a package of key reforms and submitted it to the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
