Kyiv, February 27 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukrainian soldier Nadezhda Savchenko, whom Russian law enforcement officers accuse of involvement in the deaths of journalists in Donbass, is dying in a Russian prison due to a hunger strike that has been going on for 78 days.

“She practically does not stand up, she is on the verge of life... The whole world, all the leaders of key countries are snatching her out of Putin’s hands, simply snatching her... She is infinitely courageous. She is fasting as a sign of support for Ukraine against Putin's aggression. In support of everyone at the front who sacrifices their health... She weighs less than 50 kg... She tells them that they are practically dead, because they went against the world, they simply will not exist,” Tymoshenko said.
“She fully consciously said that she would not give up the hunger strike - either freedom and peace in Ukraine, or death with dignity. This is the man of steel. She has an inhuman will. It remains for Putin to release her,” Yulia assured.
“There is a small chance that she will be released on her own recognizance, and she will live at the Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation,” Tymoshenko added.
