Pilot Savchenko is offered to be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine
Kyiv, July 28 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Draft resolution No. 4386a on the parliament’s appeal to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on awarding the title Hero of Ukraine to the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

As Navigator reported, navigator of the Ukrainian Air Force Nadezhda Savchenko fought in the Donbass as part of the Aidar battalion, after which she was captured by the militia and ended up on Russian territory. Russian investigators claim that the pilot crossed the border without documents, under the guise of a refugee.
Savchenko was accused of involvement in the murder of journalists from the Rossiya TV channel near Lugansk. The Voronezh court took her into custody for two months.
