Zaporozhye, August 08 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The wounded pilots from the Mi-8 helicopter shot down in Donbass are in hospitals under the control of the ATO forces.

“On August 7 at 18:40, terrorists opened fire on the Mi-8 ambulance helicopter (medivac). The crew made an emergency landing. Three pilots were injured; at the moment, all are in medical institutions in the territory controlled by the ATO forces,” the ATO press center said in a statement.

At the same time, the fate of the MiG-29 crew shot down near Yenakievo is not reported. According to unofficial data received on social networks from the militia headquarters, the pilots were captured.

As Navigator reported, the day before Oleg Tsarev said that during the ATO, the Ukrainian military lost 2 An-26 aircraft, 1 reconnaissance aircraft, 2 Il-76 aircraft, 16 SU-25 aircraft, 7 SU-24 aircraft, 19 combat helicopters .
