Lyova Bi-2: “Called Tikhanovskaya president for fun”
The rock band Bi-2, banned in Russia, promised the self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya to play a concert in Minsk.
One of the leaders of the group, recognized in Russia as a foreign agent, Yegor Bortnik (Leva Bi-2), stated this on the air of the Polish TV channel Belsat, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He remembered how, after a concert in Vilnius, he came to their dressing room, which looked more like a gym locker room. Tikhanovskaya came in.
“The fact happened that she came to our concert. We were very pleased, she came into our dressing room and it was just fun for me to call her “Madam President.” I just know Maia Sandu, I just like her. In general, I believe that the ideal form of government is matriarchy. It is clear that preparation is needed, but now the time is coming when empathy is of great importance.
Of course, women are more empathetic in this regard. We talked about different things - just emotional and just showing each other some kind of respect. We even shared plans that when she returns as a full-fledged president, we agreed that we would do a big concert,” Bortnik said.
Thank you!
