“Leva” from Bi-2 does not know what the Motherland and patriotism are
A native of Minsk, an Israeli citizen living in Spain, and part-time former Russian musician and foreign agent Yegor Bortnik (better known as “Leva Bi-2”) does not understand what the Motherland and patriotism are. He admitted this on air on the Polish TV channel Belsat, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Bortnik, he has been in exile since his youth, so such concepts are alien to him.
“I emigrated from Minsk at the age of 19. Lived in Israel, Australia, then we lived in Moscow. That is, it was such a permanent emigration, but I never called it that in my life. I am a man of the world, and my profession guides me through life. Where it is convenient for me to do creativity, that’s where I will live.
Cosmopolitans, but I don’t see anything strange in this, because all these definitions: “Motherland”, “patriotism” are all metaphors, allegory. After all, what is this, your place of residence? For me, for example, memories of him do not awaken super-nostalgic feelings in me,” Bortnik said.
