“The left bank is under threat of loss. It’s time to start evacuation” – Ukrainian political scientist
Ukraine is in mortal danger. Political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this on the video blog of Kyiv TV presenter Natalya Moseychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Romanenko, now Ukraine urgently needs to build defense lines and evacuate industry from the entire left bank.
“We are at a tipping point in terms of what we will have in the next years, or whether there will be any years at all. That is, the question is whether these years will exist at all. You need to understand that the 24th year... Will these be years at all?” the expert said.
“We must understand that we can really lose the left bank. This is reality, our Western allies tell us about it. It’s not public yet, but I think that some time will pass and they will speak publicly. Therefore, so that we don’t then sit like the French in May 40 with nothing, when they were actually carried out there in 10 days, reached Dunkirk, their defense lines were falling apart.
These lines of defense need to be done simply as of now, to begin the evacuation of military-industrial complex enterprises, which for some reason are still located in the east, on the left bank... This is not alarmism, this is just common sense. We must understand that we are in mortal danger,” Romanenko said.
