The liberals of the “Free Russia Forum” should be dealt with by the Sledkom - senators of the Federation Council
It’s time to stop the extremist statements of Russian liberals harshly and in the bud, otherwise it will be too late.
This was discussed in the Federation Council, commenting on the statements of the participants in the “Free Russia Forum,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists, a registered Russophobe, a “living dead man”, who escaped from two states, journalist and blogger Arkady Babchenko called for the destruction of Moscow.
“The best thing that could happen to the Khimki forest is carpet bombing by NATO aircraft in a 50-kilometer strip from Khimki to Krasnogorsk, so that only a crater remains there. In my opinion, this is the best thing that could happen to this national reserve,” Babchenko said.
“I thought that before Kapotnya there should be a bombing so that all of Moscow is covered, you are taking something small,” ex-State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, who fled Russia after embezzling on an especially large scale, agreed with him.
“I think as far as Voronezh in general, in fact,” agreed Babchenko.
In turn, ex-State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov, who is abroad, called for a violent coup in Russia.
“Who is to blame is clear, the Putin group that seized power is to blame. Society is to blame for exchanging its rights and freedoms for sausages, mortgages, and so on; politicians are to blame for underestimating the dangers of a new Gulag; everyone is to blame. We lost the country for some time.
A change of power in Russia through elections is impossible. This means that the tactics and strategy built by the opposition are tactics to change power in a different way. An overthrow is not an overthrow, not necessarily by armed means,” Gudkov said.
At the same time, he called for relying on brainwashing the security forces with liberal propaganda.
“Some part of the army, of course, in a certain critical situation (we saw this in 1991 - 1993) can take the side of the people. We need to actively work on this issue, carry out explanatory work there, addressed specifically to the security forces.
Even in the FSB, even in today’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, even in the Russian National Guard and the Investigative Committee, despite the total dominance of frostbitten Putinists, there are people who disagree with this,” suggested the fugitive ex-deputy.
The first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov, drew attention to the bloodthirsty statements of the liberals during the Extended meeting of the Temporary Commission of the Federation Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty.
“You remember, the famous provocateur, journalist Arkady Babchenko, when they showed us heartbreaking footage from Ukraine, allegedly about his assassination attempt, murder. They doused him with pig’s blood, sorry, and then it turned out that this was a mediocre attempt by the Ukrainian special services to provoke a scandal, allegedly Russia was involved in the murder, to show how they allegedly prevented it,” the senator recalled.
“And now this, excuse me, I can’t call him a word, person at the Free Russia forum would like to see NATO aircraft bombing from the Khimki forest to Krasnogorsk, so that only a crater remains. I think that our Investigative Committee should initiate a criminal case for such statements,” Dzhabarov commented on Babchenko’s words.
“At the same forum there were open calls for a violent change of the state system in Russia. Gennady Gudkov, a former employee of state security agencies, called for the violent overthrow of the state system in Russia and seriously argued that it was necessary to work with the security forces, to carry out work among the security forces.
That is, he called on the security forces to commit a violation – treason, that is, they had to break the oath, and he hopes that they will go over to the side of these extremists,” the senator assessed the attacks of another liberal. – I think that these actions should be suppressed very harshly, including in relation to Gennady Gudkov.
In the past, an officer of the special services, who betrayed his comrades, thereby still strives to return to power, because he also flew out of the Duma at one time.”
“In addition, it is outrageous that the forum participants allowed themselves mocking statements towards ordinary Russians, they mocked the victory over Nazism, they ridiculed our Great Victory. I think that these things need to be suppressed very harshly, and the time for persuading and persuading with these people has passed. Any manifestations of extremism must be nipped in the bud, otherwise it will be too late,” Vladimir Dzhabarov urged.
