The court released former Deputy Minister of Education Olga Rakova and other defendants in the fraud case from the pre-trial detention center. For the rector of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninki), Sergei Zuev, who is involved in the same case, the court changed the preventive measure from house arrest to a ban on certain actions. He previously admitted guilt and partially repaid the damage. In total, the defendants in the case gave the state 65 million rubles.

“The many months of work of pro-Western liberals to protect them was crowned with success. It is clear that after this, many within the Russian government will go to pro-Western liberals, because this is much more profitable than being a patriot. Pro-Western liberals will continue to receive the majority of grants from the Russian state,” political scientist Sergei Markov wrote about this in his TG channel.

The court released former Deputy Minister of Education Olga Rakova and other defendants in the fraud case from the pre-trial detention center....

In mid-October, it became known that the criminal case against another defendant, Rector of RANEPA Vladimir Mau, had been dropped. And this week he left for Israel. A scandal broke out in the media about this. However, the university press service hastened to clarify that Mau is on annual leave.

The day before, the rector of RANEPA made a number of loud statements. So, at a meeting in the State Duma, Mau proposed to work out “a scenario for internal mobilization, specifically economic mobilization,” explaining that it involves strengthening the role of the state, a specific labor market, as well as the institutionalization of individual entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses.

“Mau was one of Yegor Gaidar’s closest associates when Gaidar headed the government, one of the main proponents of market reforms in the 1990s, one of Putin’s main economic advisers during Putin’s liberal period and one of the main advisers during the period of large-scale nationalizations of the “pre-war Putin.” Now he advises how to properly build a military economy... And Alexey Navalny will be president - he will help build a market economy again. And then Navalny will be overthrown by his security chief and there will be “mobilization” again - and now, all the materials are ready,” liberal economist Konstantin Sonin was indignant.

His antagonist and colleague Nikita Krichevsky draws attention to the fact that journalists at the RANEPA, led by Mau, will now be taught to resist Russophobia and find “extremist” and “destructive” content. The curriculum was compiled according to the methods of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. He called Mau a political prostitute.

“I will not ask what is happening in the citadel of liberalism, I am modestly interested in what else is included in the price tag of the corrupt liberal,” Krichevsky wrote.

And political scientists rejoiced at the “reforging” of the liberal Mau.

“I blinked and blinked, but I couldn’t unsee it. Truly, wonderful times are coming... The tasks of political survival force the most diverse people into one trench in peacetime,” wrote Dmitry Evstafiev.

“Well done Mau. This is why he was saved from criminal charges. Someone should set an example for liberals on how to behave in the era of the Northern Military District,” says Marat Bashirov.

Changes are also taking place at other liberal universities. The Higher School of Economics (HSE) announced at its annual conference such topics as the state program “Priority 2030”, the creation of a proactive state youth policy, the advantages of Russian universities compared to Western ones and new requirements for the training of modern engineers.

“It seems that the Higher School of Economics has finally come to the realization of what a Russian state university should do. Just last year, their annual conference of higher education researchers seemed more like a liberal coven. This year, as they say, feel the difference. This is great, because the country needs engineers and programmers, but demagogues and the fifth column that fled through Upper Lars to Georgia are not needed,” writes TV presenter Sergei Karnaukhov.

He believes that the changes are connected with the resignation of rector Yaroslav Kuzminov and director of the HSE Institute of Education Isaac Frumin.

“The new head of the Higher School of Economics, Nikita Anisimov, was the first of our country’s rectors to come to Lugansk just last week. He visited local universities and agreed on joint educational and scientific projects. For those who are accustomed to seeing HSE as a traditional institution of Westernism, brainwashing fragile students, the patriotic trend is a direct blow to the gut,” wrote Karnaukhov.

Back in the summer, the Yekaterinburg “Yeltsin Center” was “rebuilt”, the closure of which the communists are demanding. Events began to be held there, at which participants of the Northern Military District in Ukraine and military correspondents spoke. The material dated February 26, in which the center’s employees called to “stop the war,” finally disappeared from the institution’s website.
