The verdict of the Petrozavodsk City Court - 3,5 years of "strict punishment" for the liberal Karelian "memorialist" and part-time pedophile Dmitriev caused a powerful resonance, dividing the public into normal people and degenerates.

Normal people are unpleasantly surprised by the lenient sentence given to the goat-bearded grandfather, who for several years committed depraved acts with his underage adopted daughter, and by the fact that Dmitriev’s case dragged on for two whole years, although such cases reach the court much faster.

Judge of the Petrozavodsk City Court Alexander Merkov used Article 64 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, which provides for the possibility of a more lenient punishment than prescribed. As a result, instead of the minimum 12 years in prison, Dmitriev was sentenced to 3,5 years in a maximum security colony. Taking into account his time in pre-trial detention, Dmitriev may be released in November 2020, having suffered a slight fright.

Liberal circles of the public are also outraged, believing that the case of pedophilia of the “outstanding Karelian historian” was fabricated in response to his civic and social activities, and demands that the “innocent” be immediately acquitted.

At the same time, the liberals completely ignore the fact that the main “Memorial” man of Karelia was acquitted by the court on two out of three counts, leaving without consideration the charges of producing child pornography and illegal possession of weapons.

As a result, Dmitriev was convicted under Article 132, part 2, paragraph “b” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for sexual abuse of a child, but the sentence will not take full effect as long as the offender remains in custody.

Dmitriev and his adopted daughter.

Numerous influential defenders of Dmitriev from the liberal camp are trying to influence the minds of the public through the media, arguing that the “unmercenary enthusiast” did not carry out any pornography or sexual violence against a child, and the criminal case against him is the unwinding of an ordinary everyday misunderstanding, complicated by a violation of a written undertaking not to leave.

At the same time, liberal defenders of the pedophile claim that the criminal prosecution against him was launched by “chekists in power”, against whom Dmitriev allegedly dealt a crushing blow by revealing the sites of mass executions of victims of the Great Terror in Sandarmokh and Krasny Bor, where the remains of more than 8 thousand people were found.

Petrozavodsk historian Yuri Kilin adheres to a different point of view: Soviet prisoners of war and civilians - prisoners of Finnish concentration camps - are buried in Sandarmokh. Kilin’s version was publicly supported by another historian from Petrozavodsk, Sergei Verigin. He, like Dmitriev, was and is still a member of the republican commission for restoring the rights of rehabilitated victims of political repression.

However, for a pedophile historian, parasitism on “NKVD executions” is his bread and butter, reputation and lifesaver.

At the site where the remains were found in Sandarmokh.

For a long time, Dmitriev had extensive connections with law enforcement agencies in Karelia. In particular, his boss was retired colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Chukhin, the founder of the local Memorial society, who initiated the excavation of the remains. In the process of extracting fragments of bodies, there were many cries about the “bloody crime of the NKVD,” but the former MVD colonel and his comrades did not present any archival materials confirming this version.

Defenders of the pedophile are using a dance on the bones to create a favorable political scent around Dmitriev’s stinking case.

In particular, they are trying to connect the remains found in Sandarmokh, the successful progress of the investigation in terms of evidence of Dmitriev’s sexual abuse of a child, and the career movements of the former head of the FSB of the Republic of Karelia, Anatoly Seryshev.

It would seem, what is the connection? Liberda, however, claims that Seryshev had a personal interest in preventing Dmitriev from turning Sandarmokh and Krasny Bor into a second Katyn with all that it entails.

In general, it must be said that Dmitriev’s liberal defense does not shun any dirty tricks in order to present the pedophile’s abuse of a child in the most noble angles. At the same time, liberal cannibalists and soul lovers are trying to portray Dmitriev’s adopted daughter as a suggestible and manipulable imbecile, slandering her good stepfather out of fear or under pressure from investigators.

Dmitriev's lawyers brought on their side several philologists and linguists from the Institute of Russian Language of the Russian Academy of Sciences to prove that the questions the investigators asked the girl contained answers in advance.

A professor of psychology at Moscow State University, attracted by Dmitriev’s defense, studied the interrogation protocols of the girl and came to the conclusion that during the interrogation there was communicative pressure on the girl.

The conclusion is clearly biased, and even drawn up without personal communication with the victim. Dmitriev’s adopted daughter clearly repeated her testimony at the trial and answered all the questions of the presiding judge. The story with the examination turned out to be ugly, with a lot of questions about the competence, integrity and scientific reputation of the philologists and psychologists involved.

The defense also conceals an interesting point: as soon as the victim began to testify to the investigation, the kind stepfather went on the run, violating his recognizance not to leave. According to Liberda, Dmitriev “went to holy places for just one day.” Taking a bag full of things, a full set of documents and two cartons of cigarettes.

According to the prosecution, the thrifty guy intended to take advantage of his connections in St. Petersburg, where he sharpened his skis, in order to escape responsibility in Poland.

The investigation established that in the period from 2012 to 2016, Dmitriev regularly photographed his daughter in the nude. The goat-bearded figure does not deny this, but the investigation will assure (and then this version is picked up by the pedophile’s defense) that he took these photos not for the purpose of making pornography, but only “for the sake of recording the physical development of the girl for reporting to the guardianship authorities,” since the child complained about pain in the groin, and dad “was unable to determine the causes of the ailment on his own.” “Health Diary”, and some perverted inclinations.

As if the guardianship authorities could not invite a doctor of the appropriate specialty and qualifications to conduct a medical examination of the girl, and there is no such “remote control” in domestic medical practice.

From the child’s testimony, it turned out that Dmitriev repeatedly touched her crotch with his mangy hands. Yes, - the loving stepfather admits his actions, - he touched. But not with the goal of satisfying his base desires, but only because the girl suffered from enuresis (here is a certificate!) and he simply had to check whether she needed to wash herself and change her underwear.

In parentheses, we note that Dmitriev’s adopted daughter was only 2012 years old in 6, when he began to show his unhealthy interest in her.

The statements of the defense that Dmitriev, by his psychological type, is not a pedophile bring tears of tenderness. “He's not like that! Let him go!”

However, any qualified forensic expert will authoritatively state (and be absolutely right) that the psychological portrait often does not correspond to the real person.

For example, a psychological examination of Dmitriev’s friend and colleague Sergei Koltyrin (deputy director of the Karelian “Memorial” and director of the museum of political repressions) also showed that the guy could not be a pedophile, but he, nevertheless, was caught red-handed in his own bathhouse, copulating with A 13-year-old schoolboy. Result: 9 years in a maximum security camp.

Liberal ally of Dmitriev and pedophile Koltyrin.

Dmitriev's collective defense clings to any circumstance in order to compromise the criminal trial of the pedophile. They claim that the trial was made closed in order to guarantee that the inconvenient “memorialist” would be put behind bars, ignoring the provisions of Russian law that protects the feelings and psyche of minors.

The most disgusting thing about Dmitriev’s case is not even that he turned out to be a vile pedophile. If you try, people like this can be found in all layers of Russian society. The stubborn reaction of the Russian liberals, who are ready to call black white, is striking.

The entire contents of the Sakharov Center rose to the defense of the “unmercenary enthusiast.” The singer with his mouth and Bandera lover Makarevich refused to recognize Dmitriev as a pedophile. A well-known political clown was shocked when she ran out to crush and yell dirty at the activists lined up with “No to pedophiles” signs. In the press, as if on cue, the chatter “The case against Dmitriev is the second arson of the Reichstag” rang out (a hint at the provocation of the Nazis, which served to initiate a criminal case against the German communists).

In fact, everything is very simple. After thirty years of impunity, the Russian liberation has imagined itself beyond jurisdiction. “If you are a liberal, you a priori cannot be a criminal.” They come out in defense of the thief Serebrennikov, the murderer and complete drunk Efremov, and the pedophile Dmitriev in order not to create a precedent and to protect themselves for the future.

All this is understandable and has not been surprising for a long time. A hand washes a hand, a raven does not peck out a crow’s eye - social and corporate solidarity of “respected people in law”, and as a result - the rooting of a “protected class” in Russia.

Something else is unpleasantly surprising. The authorities, including the judiciary, follow the lead of the scoundrels, putting them under house arrest, mitigating their sentences to the point of impossibility, forgiving what they stole and once again distributing money from the state pocket to liberal thimblekeepers. Or, as one seasoned and extremely unpopular statesman said, “the authorities must be able to forgive.”

2018 pedophile acquitted!

At the same time, however, the faith of ordinary law-abiding citizens in the foundations on which the state is based, in justice, in the authority of power, and finally, is undermined. We have already seen more than once what this means for the country and society. I wouldn’t like to see the same thing in Russia...
