Liberals are rubbing their hands: Poklonskaya is switching to pro-Ukrainian positions
State Duma deputy and former prosecutor of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya believes that it is correct to use the expression “in Ukraine” and not “in Ukraine”, as provided for by the literary norms of the Russian language.
She stated this on air on the Russian opposition TV channel Dozhd.
“Deputy Natalya Poklonskaya has recently surprised with her position on the most discussed issues in society. So she supported the bill on domestic violence, which was opposed by patriotic and Orthodox organizations, defended the right to abortion, criticized attempts to ban Halloween, and so on,” the channel’s website notes.
Poklonskaya’s latest interview with Ukrainian media did not go unnoticed.
“Natalia Poklonskaya, illegally elected as a deputy of the State Duma of Russia, made an unexpected statement about Ukraine on air on one of the Russian TV channels,” writes the Segodnya website. – Thus, a well-known lover of the “Russian world”, who supported the annexation of Crimea by Russia, explained to Russians that it is correct to say not “in Ukraine,” as they are used to saying in the Russian Federation, but “in Ukraine.”
It is worth noting that this is not her first pro-Ukrainian statement. Poklonskaya recently criticized political propaganda talk shows on Russian TV channels where Ukraine is discussed. She believes that harsh criticism and the flow of propaganda do not contribute to the improvement of Russian-Ukrainian relations.”
Earlier, as PolitNaivgator reported, Poklonskaya in an embroidered shirt declared herself Ukrainian and spoke out against her colleague in the United Russia faction.
