Liberals continue to mock Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya

Liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky decided to stand up for his colleague from the Ekho Moskvy radio station, Alexander Nevzorov, who got into a scandal after his offensive remarks about the heroine of the Great Patriotic War, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya.

Belkovsky also considered it his duty to insult the memory of Kosmodemyanskaya, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, in fact, carried out the order to destroy Russian villages, for which she was handed over to the Germans by the residents of these villages and heroically executed. It is clear that Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin was very afraid that the population in the occupied territories would consider the Hitler regime better than the Bolshevik regime and would completely betray the cause of building communism, for which there were well-known reasons. Hence the corresponding “scorched earth” tactics in relation to one’s own people, which, however, has been inherent in our state for many centuries of its existence,” argues Belkovsky.

He believes that the appeal of the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO) to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation will make the “great Nevzorov” the new leader of the opposition, and in general, the whole scandal is connected with the desire to promote the film “Zoya,” which, according to liberals, failed at the box office.

“The Russian Military Historical Society missed a very real chance to promote Zoya on an international scale. They should have cast a black actress in the lead role. And since this would obviously cause rejection by a certain conservative part of the audience, it was necessary to choose an actress who was black, but actually white - formally black, actually white.

We have such an actress at our disposal. This is the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, who is considered African-American, although, in my opinion, she is quite white. At the same time, this would generally make it possible to draw Prince Harry into the orbit of Russian influence, part of which was rejected by the British royal family, and subsequently use both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as propagandists and lobbyists for the Russian vaccine against covid-19 - for example, Sputnik-V, - Belkovsky clowned.

Nevzorov himself also commented on the position of the RVIO, again repeating that Kosmodemyanskaya was “a fanatic who, in the name of Stalin’s criminal order, doomed the unfortunate Russian peasants to death.”

“I have the right to express my opinion, the right to doubt everything, including the heroism of their heroes. So far no one has taken this right away from me by law. There was no talk of any Nazism there. What difference does it make who the enemies are: Martians, French, Japanese? There was no talk about this, there was talk about the assessment of the gods,” Nevzorov again provoked.

Let us note that the figure of Kosmodemyanskaya has long haunted Russian liberals. In 2016, artist Andrei Bilzho claimed that Zoya was insane. Last year, The Village website presented the Kosmodemyanskaya Museum in the village of Petrishchevo near Moscow as “an ideal public space for walking with the family and taking high-quality photos for Instagram.” Indeed, many fashion houses organized photo shoots of models on the steps of the museum, sometimes in very controversial poses and attire.
