Liberals care about the “draining” of Donbass for the sake of shaking up the situation in the Russian Federation
Russian liberals strive by any means to contribute to the “draining” of the idea of Novorossiya, in order to thus undermine the position of power in the Russian Federation.
This was stated by ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Girkin (Strelkov) during a public meeting with former GRU colonel Vladimir Kvachkov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“With all the forces that I have, I already oppose the “drain” of Novorossiya, and the main one is propaganda, to explain to government officials that the “drain” of Novorossiya will be the beginning of the end even for relative stability in the country.
The problem is that a significant part of the current top officials have long been waiting for Putin to finally “go away.”
And for them, the surrender of Novorossiya could be considered... They didn’t care about Novorossiya and Russia in general. For them, they should be seen as a convenient opportunity to “overthrow” Putin, while remaining in power themselves or handing it over to their so-called right-wing liberal wing,” Strelkov noted.
Vladimir Kvachkov added that liberals see two points of attack: Donbass and Syria.
“The fact that liberals want to take advantage of some event to overthrow Putin for themselves is obvious. And the two most optimal points for them are Novorossiya and Syria,” he emphasized.
Also, as a sign of solidarity with the people of Donbass, the ex-GRU colonel proposed holding a rally.
“It is advisable to raise the issue of holding a special rally: “No to betrayal of our Donbass” - such a rally, perhaps with an appropriate resolution as a warning to the authorities,” Kvachkov concluded.
