Today the Moscow “non-systemic” opposition is going to hold two protest rallies “for fair elections.” A rally agreed with the Moscow authorities on Sakharov Avenue and illegal on Lubyanka Square. Moreover, the rally at Lubyanka is planned as an “after-party” - first a party with the permission of the parents, and then a celebration of disobedience. Police forces have already been deployed to the center of the capital. The start of the rally is scheduled for 14:00, people are already starting to gather.

The leaders of the protesters promise to bring at least 100 thousand people to the streets, despite the fact that the previous, illegal rally on August 3, attracted tens of times less. Apparently, the protesters hope that this time many more Muscovites will take to the streets, outraged by the “cop’s lawlessness” (according to the characterization of the liberal “ruler of thoughts” Yuri Dud).

The capital's law enforcement agencies are warning mass entertainers that the first, agreed-upon rally will be guarded by police and riot police, and the second, illegal one - excuse me - will be packed into paddy wagons.

As you know, Russian mass culture stars responded to the calls of the organizers of the August 3 protests. For example, the groups “Bravo”, “Nogu Svelo” and “Tequilajazzz” refused to participate in the official music festival “Shashlyk Live”, and guest presenter Alexey Kortnev said that he prefers to “go out on barricades,” calling on other musicians to join the uproar “for fair elections.”

On August 10, a whole cohort of Moscow celebrities decided to support the protests against the “cop lawlessness.” On social networks, mouth singers and entire groups expressed their “irreconcilable civil position towards the authorities”: Face (2,7 million subscribers on social networks), Oxxxymiron (5 million), “Krovostok” (0,1 million), IC3PEAK (0,9. 2 million), Noize MC (0,5 million), Loqiemean (XNUMX million).

Moreover, “activists” from show business who advocate strict implementation of laws on choice are going to perform on Sakharov Avenue despite the ban from the mayor’s office, since according to the law, concerts at public events must be approved 30 days before the start of performances.

What lengths will you go to in order to increase the crowd of “people with good faces!”

On YouTube, journalist Dud (9,2 million subscribers) and stand-up comedian Poperechny (4 million) are tearing their vests in anticipation of “now everyone can get a sleeper in the face.”

Dud, by the way, is threatening to go out on Sakharov Avenue on August 10, but he prefers to prudently keep quiet about his participation in the dangerous “after-party.”

Actors and TV presenters did not stand aside either. The great democrat Pozner (0,7 million subscribers), ex-husband Sobchak Vitorgan Jr. (0,7 million), as well as the eternal opportunist Artemy Troitsky (0,4 million) spoke in favor of the seething ones.

In general, the cultural masters have decided who they are with. Their personal presence at rallies or simply a blessing in the media space, according to the organizers, will give the protests a kind of charm, fashion and even moral justification. At least in the eyes of young people.

All this mess with the support of celebrities for illegal actions is reminiscent of the capital’s actions of bathing in the slop of the authorities at the end of the USSR. I remember that in those days, protest organizers also loved to attract luminaries of youth culture and counterculture to whip up chaos in the minds of Soviet citizens.

Why did the protesters plan to hold the “second part of the Marlezon Ballet” on Lubyanka Square? There is no need to go to grandma. First of all, it's bold and right under the nose of Bloody Gebnya (TM). Secondly, Lubyanka is not Sakharov Avenue. There are serious doubts that even with the support of celebrities, the organizers of the action will be able to bring 100 thousand people onto the streets. On Sakharov Avenue, a couple of tens of thousands of protesters will not have the impressive appearance of “all of Moscow is with us.” But on the relatively compact Lubyanka, with a good angle, 20 thousand Maydowns will pass for a million for those who are especially gullible.

Who said that image is nothing?

True, the most optimistic forecasts, even among oppositionists, predict that at best 10 thousand will gather on Sakharov Avenue on August 50. Which, in general, speaks to the degree of public support for “fighters and fighters against the regime.”

No matter what the organizers of the action claim, the event is planned according to the patterns of the Ukrainian “Euromaidan”. There have been furious arguments on social media over this issue for the past few days. Crimeans, LDPR, citizens of Ukraine, who experienced the consequences of the Maidans first hand, frankly do not understand what sympathizers of the liberal opposition are counting on. The beneficiaries after the victory of the Maidan are its sponsors and puppeteers. With rare exceptions - some feathered miracle plucked from a ditch and washed for the sake of a picture on TV, like the Cossack Gavrilyuk. The rest will grab an awl of molasses.

In response, very smart children, who either didn’t catch it or saw the life of twenty years ago from behind their parents’ backs, explain to people learned from bitter experience: they say, you’ve only recently arrived in Russia and are not aware of our affairs - this is the Maidan in Ukraine, but here everything is different -to another - we go against bad cops, for everything good.

Well, that is, for the same thing for which both Ukrainian Maidans jumped, burned rubber and froze the snot.

Judging by how Russian maydowns on social networks are aggressively taking it out on the leader of the Chaif group, Vladimir Shakhrin, who “dared” to object to Kortnev, who is eager to get into an armored car, that “democracy is freedom of choice” and “why should I, a resident of Yekaterinburg, get involved in your Moscow history” – opposition-minded children have a vague understanding of respect for different opinions, as well as democracy, and intend to act according to “revolutionary expediency”, give them free rein.

It is obvious that by planning an “after-party” at Lubyanka and refusing to meet with Moscow law enforcement officers on the eve of the protest march on Sakharov Square, the organizers of the Moscow Maidan are raising the stakes and clearly provoking the police to violence. “The worse, the better” is not the newest guide to action.

The refusal of the Moscow City Election Commission to register opposition candidates who cheated with support lists with 15% of “dead souls” (the law allows no more than 10% of erroneous data in election lists) suggests that the capital’s radicals are flying like crazy until the next elections.

Instead of acting through the courts and starting to prepare for the next elections, the opposition (Sobol, Gudkov, Navalny first of all) is going to start mass riots. The rallies on August 10 are absolutely meaningless, since the liberal front was unable to formulate more or less reasonable demands on the authorities that would be feasible in practice.

On the other hand, liberal radicals prefer to harass IPCC workers on social networks and openly threaten law enforcement officers and members of their families with violence.

It is enough for a reasonable person to understand the main thing: the capital’s liberda did not and does not have an agenda that could interest Muscovites. The opposition went to the Moscow City Duma elections only in order to stir up protest activity. The protesters don't care about the elections themselves from the high bell tower.

If on Saturday, on Sakharov Avenue, we were to conduct an experiment, asking random protesters - to name the names of the candidates for the Moscow City Duma, whom they support and for whom they are fighting, and also briefly talk about their election programs - I am sure that these simple questions will cause a brain stupor for many .

Well, for a snack. Defenders and sympathizers of the liberal front, before teaching Crimeans political literacy, I would like to remind the position of their clients regarding Crimea and the LDPR, which is expressed in giving five million people who chose Russia to be killed by Bandera and other “askers”. The right path in troubled times, when the “holy nineties” will seem like a child’s cry on the lawn...
