Liberals laid flowers at the site of Nemtsov’s death and are preparing a march in Moscow
Liberals and representatives of Western embassies carried flowers on Thursday evening to the site of the death of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, who was shot five years ago on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge.
Badges with Nemtsov’s photograph, coffee and cakes were distributed on the bridge.
The opposition leaders did not look depressed - they greeted each other with a smile, discussing plans for Saturday, when a march of opponents of the authorities was planned in Moscow, timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of Nemtsov’s murder.
Let us recall that Nemtsov himself held marches under the slogan of peace with Bandera’s Ukraine, actually supporting the regime that seized power in Kyiv and accusing the Russian leadership of “starting a war.”
Nemtsov was shot dead on the night of February 28 in the center of Moscow on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge. The five perpetrators of his murder were sentenced to terms ranging from 11 to 20 years. Interestingly, at the moment of the murder, next to him there was a citizen of Ukraine Anna Duritskaya.
Information appeared in the media that Duritskaya moved to Kyiv, where, several months after the murder of Nemtsov bought two apartments. Ukrainian media tied up Duritskaya with work for the SBU or for the nationalists.
