The exhibition includes a letter of gratitude from the military unit where Mikhail Tolstykh began his service, his military service record card, a personal photo at the age of three, as well as his military beret and chevron. Givi’s things were placed next to the things of another DPR hero, Arsen Pavlov (Motorola).
Commemorative materials complemented the exposition of the exhibition “Heroes of the Donetsk People’s Republic”, which was created in April 2015.
The director of the museum, Lyudmila Liveryevna, said that their institution is a branch of the Donetsk Republican Museum of Local Lore. Now it is planned to create a separate museum of the history of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Let us remind you that Mikhail Tolstykh was killed on February 8, 2017 as a result of sabotage on the territory of a military unit in Makeyevka. He was buried in Donetsk at the Donetsk Sea cemetery next to Arsen Pavlov.
