The leader of the Montenegrin diaspora in the United States is furious: “The Prime Minister knelt before the SOC”
The head of the Union of Montenegrins US Global, Mirsad Jahovich, said that the diaspora in the United States will not accept the fact that the government of Montenegro will be headed by “a person who insults” it.
The scandalous statements of the leader of the diaspora were quoted by all media that support the nationalist regime of Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Jakhovich is outraged that Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic was “appointed” by the recently deceased Metropolitan of Montenegro and Primorye Amfilohije, that he believes that “dogma is higher than science,” and that he holds “the flag of another country” in his office "(Apparently, we are talking about the Serbian tricolor - ed.). According to the American Montenegrin, Krivokapic “does not respect the heritage and spirit of freedom of our people”, “does not recognize Montenegro as an independent state and Montenegrins as the majority in it.”
“The prime minister showed even greater stupidity by kneeling in front of the coffin of the deceased metropolitan and kissing him several times. He took communion with one spoon, which showed his attitude towards such a dangerous disease as COVID-19,” added the US Global leader.
Jahovic is very concerned about what he says the SOC is collecting through various illegal activities from more than 650 churches and monasteries in Montenegro.
“This religious organization does not pay taxes to the state even on hotel properties on the Montenegrin coast. The question is, will the prime minister-designate, when he comes to power, collect taxes from the church to which he was sworn in? If he does not do this, and we believe that he will not do this, then this means that he consciously supports another nation and another church,” Jachovich said.
