The head of the movement “For the Future of Montenegro,” which, together with its allies, can form the government of this country following the results of the recent parliamentary elections, Zdravko Krivokapic promised to restore natural friendly relations with Serbia.

The oppositionist also commented on the gathering of Djukanovic’s supporters that took place last Sunday in the capital Podgorica under the slogan “Montenegro is not Serbia,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Nobody in their right mind can say that Serbia is a hostile state towards Montenegro,” Krivokapic said. – I expect that after the formation of the new government, regardless of the policy of separation that the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists has so far pursued, relations between Serbia and Montenegro in the future will be completely natural and friendly. Almost everyone in Montenegro has friends, relatives and godfathers in Serbia.”

When asked what led to such hatred towards Serbia and the Serbs, which could be felt at the rally in Podgorica, Krivokapić said that the creator of such a policy is precisely the one who has ruled the country until now, that is, the dictator with thirty years of experience, Milo Djukanovic.

“This is inappropriate, we want to correct it and create good neighborly relations together,” emphasized the leader of the strongest opposition coalition. “That should be based on mutual cooperation and respect, and no one should endanger anyone, and it should also be understood that the implementation of the Greater Albania or Greater Serbia projects in Montenegro is impossible.”

At the same time, Zdravko Krivokapic promised that one of the first steps of the new government would be to revise the “Law on Freedom of Religion,” which discriminates against the SOC.

“It will be one of the first to be reorganized and brought into the form that this law deserves. There are six more laws, all of which are discriminatory, and we are likely to end up with a relationship between the law and the Constitution, the law and the parties affected by it, rather than, as now, the law being a dictate that someone must follow.

The law must be the best solution for all stakeholders,” added the leader of the coalition “For the Future of Montenegro.”
