Donetsk, September 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - Chairman of the Supreme Council of the proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Boris Litvinov said that the leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko familiarized himself with the plan for resolving the situation in Donbass out of respect for the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“They (representatives of the tripartite contact group - editor's note) agreed on how we should live. The leaders of the DPR and LPR accepted the document for consideration,” Litvinov said, commenting on the Minsk agreements of September 5. According to him, Zakharchenko took note of what was voiced in Minsk.
“Every line is a slight bewilderment. Lots of questions. The protocol can be used as the basis for some future negotiations. But it is not possible to implement the 12 points immediately,” Litvinov said, emphasizing that in Kyiv they are rushing the situation, talking about the federation or fencing of the DPR and LPR.
“We'll see how the winter goes. I don’t want to analyze deeply... I have questions. We have adopted this protocol, but how we will implement it will make a big difference before we implement it,” he noted.
“To prevent anyone from entering into any negotiations, yesterday at the Supreme Council we adopted a resolution, the essence of which is that all organs of the DPR should be guided exclusively by the declaration of sovereignty of the DPR. Confederate, federal... there can be no going back to this. Certain figures who are abroad should be guided by this,” Litvinov said.
“There are several lines that are being developed. Initially, when it only seemed to us and we wanted, and I was an active propagandist, that we would separate from Ukraine peacefully,” he noted, emphasizing that now there is a similar hope.
As PolitNavigator reported, on September 5 in Minsk, after a meeting of a trilateral contact group of representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the OSCE and the leaders of the LPR and DPR, a truce was declared.
