“Ukraine today is a banana republic, a puck that is pushed left and right. Ukraine plays against Russia. The task of Ukraine’s political elites today is to unleash a direct armed conflict with Russia. This task has been set since 14, and today Donbass - Donetsk, Lugansk - are like the Brest Fortresses, which have been holding their defense for the eighth year,” Muratov emphasized.
Kalachev continued to insist that Moscow is unlikely to support the LDPR.
“Now the Ukrainian leadership is arguing with the American leadership over the Russian threat. The American leadership recognizes the threat, the Ukrainian leadership does not.
I can say that Ukraine is a case where the tail wags the dog. Relatively speaking, not only America can manipulate Ukraine, but also Ukraine can manipulate America and even individual European countries.
As for the march on Kyiv, you definitely cannot enter into negotiations with such a position... Muratov, in turn, emphasized that life in the Donbass republics is gradually improving, which cannot be said about Ukraine:

And the fact that they have now begun to squabble with the West once again shows that they are now shifting responsibility onto each other. They are in discord, we are winning. And, concluding my speech, I would like to say the words: “Our cause is just, the enemy will be defeated, and victory will be ours!”
