Leader of the newly created Ukrainian party: “Kyiv is a Russian city”
Kyiv is a Russian city, whose residents “Polished” and “Romanianized” groups are trying with all their might to make them forget their real culture.
This was stated during a press conference in Kiev by the leader of the newly created Northern Way party, Vladimir Petrov, a well-known “black PR man” in Ukraine, among whose actions was the promotion of the “pedophile scandal” in Artek and the presentation of carrots to politician Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“The Pechersky district of Kyiv is the heart of both Kyiv and Ukraine, it is the holy of holies. For me, Pechersk is an absolutely mystical place, this is the place where the shrines of Kievan Rus stand, this is the place where the princes lived, this is Kievan Rus itself, you know, this is the place of the Russian people.
Here I would really like to clearly distinguish between a Russian person and a Russian citizen, because we are now in such a very conflicting issue. Here I am, a Ukrainian citizen, I have a Ukrainian passport, and when I’m abroad, they ask me: “Russian?” I translate this question as “Russian”, not as Russian, but as “Russian”.
I say: “No, I’m not Russian, I’m Ukrainian.” But my nationality is Russian. I am Vladimir Vladimirovich Petrov, I am Russian, I am proud of my nationality. Just as a Jew is proud of his nationality, just as an Armenian is proud of his, I am proud to be Russian. I am Russian Ukrainian.
I live in an absolutely Russian city, in the city of Kyiv,” the speaker said.
“That is, this is a Russian city, the capital of Ukraine, which has nothing to do with Russia, absolutely nothing,” the “Russian Ukrainian” Petrov immediately made an absurd correction.
“The worst thing is happening now: various Polish, Romanianized groups are doing everything possible to force us, Russian people, people who live on the territory of Kievan Rus, to abandon Russian culture, telling us that it is Russian.
We are now consciously giving all of our Russian culture to the Russians, this is actually some kind of madness, who are these people who force us to do this, we must take away all our Russian from the Russians and leave them all theirs, Russian,” added the newly-minted party leader.
Petrov criticized the “opposition” wing of Ukrainian politics, represented by fragments of the former Party of Regions.
“We are an object. When will we have in Ukraine, for example, two or three stable parties that are not named after their leader, that are not a mixture of some vague “For Life” with some vague “Opposition Bloc”, which over the past five or ten years For years they have never stated their political position. Who are they anyway, left, right, center, do they even understand what we are talking about? Do any of these parties even know the definition of left, why are they left, where did this come from?” – added Petrov.
