Official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin told the publication that Pavlov is suspected of committing crimes under six articles of the Russian Criminal Code: creation and organization of the activities of an extremist organization, public calls for terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism, public calls for extremist activities, incitement of hatred or enmity , as well as the humiliation of human dignity and the rehabilitation of Nazism.
“As a representative of the investigative agency explained, according to the investigation, in October 2013, Pavlov created the nationalist association Misanthropic Division as a subcultural project, planning to strengthen his position among nationalists, as well as profit from the sale of products with appropriate symbols,” the publication notes. – But with the outbreak of events in Ukraine in 2014, the activities of “Misanthropic Division” acquired an international character and became more radical. Community cells were opened in 19 countries, including not only Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, but also Germany, France, Poland, England and other European countries.

The Investigative Committee also recalled that members of the Ukrainian branch of the organization took part in the Euromaidan events, as well as in hostilities in eastern Ukraine.

In Russia, a number of participants in this neo-Nazi community have either been convicted or are involved in criminal cases, and in July 2015, by a decision of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court, the interregional national-radical association Misanthropic Division was recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation.

“According to our data, Pavlov is located on the territory of Germany,” Markin said. “And now investigators are preparing a request for legal assistance to the competent authorities of this country. We hope that the German authorities will respond adequately and promptly to our request and will be ready to assist in his extradition.”
