The leader of Rammstein had his pre-election concert cancelled, but they didn’t hurt him with his fee
The leader of the German rock band Rammstein, Till Lindemann, refused to perform at a festival in the Tver region, organized in honor of the 50th birthday of local businessman Maxim Larin. The refusal occurred after the police issued a warning to the musician about the need to comply with anti-Covid measures. The performance in Tver was associated with the election campaign of the Rodina party.
“We received a response from Till Lindemann. He was not allowed to perform at our festival and was warned about the possibility of being brought to administrative and criminal liability in case of violation of the order,” festival organizer Maxim Larin said on his Instagram page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Liberal publicist Kirill Shulika assures that Rammstein’s fee amounted to 500 thousand euros.
“It won’t come back,” says Shulika.
Earlier it was reported that the police opened an administrative case against the producer of Rammstein leader Anar Reyband, he was charged with violating the migration regime.
Meanwhile, it is known that the Rammstein lead singer will still perform twice at the Spasskaya Tower festival in Moscow.
