Leaders of Novorossiya are ready to order a ceasefire

“The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko and the head of the Lugansk People’s Republic Igor Plotnitsky made a joint statement that “we are ready tomorrow, September 5, 2014 at 15:00 to give an order for a ceasefire, if agreements can be reached and representatives of Ukraine sign the plan political settlement of the conflict,” the DPR press service reports.
In addition, Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky stated that "tomorrow in Minsk they will submit to the contact group their proposals for a ceasefire, which will detail the guarantees of compliance by the parties to the conflict."
Also, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, after a meeting with the leaders of leading NATO countries at a summit in Wales, said that Ukrainian troops will receive an order to cease fire on Friday at 14:00 if a peace plan is adopted at the Minsk meeting.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Petro Poroshenko said at the NATO summit that he hopes for the start of the implementation of the peace plan tomorrow. Tomorrow a meeting of the trilateral contact group on the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass is due to take place in Minsk.
