Limonov: There is no need to pretend that Ukraine does not exist
It is wrong to deny the existence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Writer Eduard Limonov stated this on Radio Mediametrix.

“There is no need to pretend that Ukraine does not exist. It is there, just small. I've calculated that it's somewhere around 9 regions around Kyiv, although some may be debatable. And everything else is not theirs,” Limonov said.
The writer considers four Ukrainian regions in Western Ukraine to be Polish territories, and their population, in his opinion, is generally devoid of signs of a nation.
“Westerners are agriculture. These are the mountaineers. Peasants, unemployment. Shimmering, old-fashioned retro consciousness. They are not a nation. They are everyday fascists. National Socialism is an ideology, and this is like everyday xenophobia: the quilted jacket is alien,” Limonov said.
At the same time, the Ukrainian government, the writer believes, has become nationalistic involuntarily in order to somehow control the Westerners.
“They (the Westerners) had to be defeated. The fact that they remain will cause damage to us, for a long time, to Kharkov, and to our other 9 regions. These are colonies, we allowed Ukraine to colonize our people,” Limonov said.
