Limonov: Fat-faced Muscovites will ruin the revolutionary Donbass in Transnistrian style
The ideologist of the NBP banned in the Russian Federation, writer Eduard Limonov, expressed regret over the loss of revolutionary potential in Transnistria, adding that he fears the dominance of the bureaucracy in the Donbass republics.
He stated this during an open meeting of the unregistered party “Other Russia,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What do you think about the Transnistrian problem today, and has your attitude towards this issue changed almost 26 years after the war?” - they asked the writer.
“We in Russia hoped that they would become a springboard for some changes in Russia itself, that they would serve, not necessarily as some kind of military base or something else, but we hoped that they would be a territory that, say, accepts people and so on.
They did not live up to our hopes in any way, I am speaking not only from the National Bolsheviks party, in general the Russian opposition hoped that it would put forward its demands more decisively.
There they became carried away with the assimilation of space, crushing every business under themselves, and so on and so forth. In short, there is nothing revolutionary left there, unfortunately. And so they drag out a miserable existence for 26 years, I was there in 1992, when there was a war and I still have many connections, but I don’t want to be with them, they killed many of each other and did not live up to expectations,” the writer said .
“By the way, I am seeing the same thing now, maybe my comrades will not agree with me, unfortunately, the same process is in the LPR and DPR. This is all Muscovy, this is the influence of Moscow, which is satisfied with this state of affairs, because Muscovy is afraid that the bacilli of revolution will spread from there to Russia. At first they were afraid that they were from the PMR, and now they are afraid that they were from the DPR and LPR, although there are no longer any bacilli there. That is, the Russian bureaucracy reigned there, fat-faced advisers came, officials arrived,” Limonov added.
