Fraudulent fight against corruption: SBU bosses were allowed not to publish declarations
The publication of data on the property of officials, advertised by the Maidan activists, turned out to be a fake fight against corruption - for example, the top of the SBU was allowed to hide their income from the public.
This fact was pointed out by the former head of the legal block of the presidential administration, Andrei Portnov.

“The authors of the amendment, which allowed the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine not to show previously stolen property to the general public, were two well-known anti-corruption officials - Sobolev and Chumak.
In addition, the law obliged the National Anti-Corruption Agency to adopt a special procedure for employees of the Service, which, of course, was not adopted.
Therefore, those who are in the process of stealing state property and want such an amendment to apply to them too, just need to ask to work as an adviser to the head of the SBU.
This will allow you to submit a declaration where no one can see it,” Portnov noted.
