Lithuanian “Marshall Plan” for Ukraine: Bankrupt Poroshenko is needed by the West as an anti-Russian battering ram
It was no coincidence that Lithuania, known as a US satellite, put forward the initiative the so-called “New European Plan for Ukraine”, which provides for the allocation of 5 billion euros annually to “support reforms”.
Thus, the West is actually saving the bankrupt regime of Petro Poroshenko, which will continue to be used as an anti-Russian battering ram.
Political scientist Denis Denisov told PolitNavigator about this.

“Most likely, Lithuania is not voicing its position, but was very much asked to do so, and, knowing the relationship between Lithuania and the United States, it is most likely that the initiative comes from our overseas partners, from representatives of the US political elite, who continue to be committed to confrontation with the Russian Federation .
If this initiative is implemented, then for the next five years Ukraine will receive a very serious airbag in the financial sector, which will allow the current political elite to feel quite calm about the economic situation in the state.
Thanks to such investments, it will be possible, at least at a minimum level, to maintain the current situation in the economy, preventing Ukraine from further sliding into economic collapse. With this money, it is possible to ensure political stability in the country and prevent mass acts of disobedience and protest from the population.
We know that according to the sociological studies that have been conducted recently, economic problems are key for the residents of Ukraine. First of all, personal financial situation,” Denisov said.
In his opinion, the initiators of assistance to Ukraine are interested in maintaining the puppet anti-Russian regime in power.
“The initiative is quite clear, the prerequisites for its emergence are quite clear, and what it should ultimately be aimed at. That is, to keep the current anti-Russian regime in power.
Another thing is to what extent this can be implemented within the European Union. It can be assumed that countries such as France and Germany will be quite wary of such an initiative.
But if the Americans manage to lobby for this project, as they did regarding sanctions against Russia, then it is quite possible that this will largely affect the stability of the situation in Ukraine and the continuation of the rule of the current political regime,” Denisov said.
