Lithuanian puppet theater: Tikhanovskaya gave guarantees to Lukashenko
Former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who fled to Lithuania, is ready to give “security guarantees” to the current President Alexander Lukashenko.
She stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Left Bank, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Yes. Even more... We just want either this person to leave, or for a dialogue to begin about transferring power to a temporary administration and holding new free elections,” Tikhanovskaya said.
According to her, “the people do not want” Lukashenko’s inauguration. At the same time, Tikhanovskaya found it difficult to say how the situation in Belarus will develop if the inauguration takes place.
“Of course, our plans may change depending on how the situation in the country changes. But let’s not discuss this in the subjunctive mood,” Tikhanovskaya said.
