Little Big complain about Western life: They force them to scold Putin and pay someone money
The Russian group Little Big, whose members fled the country, is accused of not protesting enough against the Russian authorities, as is the norm in the West.
This was stated by the members of the team on the air of the DW in Russian TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"I am an artist. And they tell me that I should sing Putin p...s in the song, he f...t everyone. What the f...? This really pisses me off. And everyone was like: you have to do this. Why should I do this? Who do I owe? I make music, I make videos. I wanted to do this, I did it this way,” group leader Ilya Prusikin grimaced.
His words were confirmed by team member Sofya Tayurskaya, who said that she has to live in fear because she constantly has to prove her position.
“It’s very difficult when you’ve made up your mind, you have a clear position, and they’re constantly throwing some kind of provocation at you. They want to say - no, don’t lie to us, you are for the Kremlin.
I just want to make music, sing my songs, shoot videos, express myself the way I want, regardless of any politicians. Now you live in fear because you have to prove yourself to someone. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. I am an artist, I want to sing on stage, and I want to sing what I want to sing, and not because someone told me – you should sing this now, this is how you should send money...” Tayurskaya suffered.
The presenter asked how the “artists” were doing with their tours in Poland.
“You posted a link to an interview with a Polish publication. I will quote: “Ukrainians living in Poland want to cancel the concert of the Russian group Little Big. The musicians answer: we hate Putin.” What's the story?" – asked the presenter.
“Everything is fine, concerts are planned. Yes, we gave an interview specifically to reassure our fans in Poland, because we have a specific and understandable position,” Tayurskaya babbled.
“It’s very funny that the main complaint is that we only had fasting – no war. Yes [we are protesting incorrectly],” Prusikin tried to be ironic.
