Lithuania accused Belarus of organizing the invasion of Iraqi migrants
Belarus allegedly sends a huge number of migrants from the Middle East and other countries to the Baltic states in order to create internal problems for them.
Vice-Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Paulus Saudargas stated this during a meeting with Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have a new problem on the border of Lithuania and Belarus - now there is a new wave of immigration. They are pushing migrants from Iraq and other countries to Lithuania in order to create problems in our country.
This is not a tragedy, the situation is under control, but it is a growing problem. We have never encountered this before,” said the vice-speaker of the Lithuanian parliament.
Let us remind you that Lithuania leads extremely anti-Belarusian policy. Thus, recently the Vilnius City Hall removed from the flagpole in the center of the city, the national flag of Belarus, which hung among the flags of other neighboring countries of Lithuania, and replaced it with the white-red-white flag of Belarusian nationalists.
