Litvin: “Kravchuk is a patented prostitute”
The first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk acted very rudely towards ex-Prime Minister Vitold Fokin, with whom he was part of the Ukrainian delegation at the Minsk negotiations on resolving the conflict in Donbass
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with the Kyiv online newspaper Strana, the former head of the administration of Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin.
The publication asked to assess the situation in the TCG, from where the decision of President Vladimir Zelensky Fokin was withdrawn, who proposed real steps for reconciliation with the LDPR, after which Kravchuk made it clear that he had nothing to do with the ex-prime minister.
“But everything is clear with Kravchuk: he is a patented political prostitute,” said Lytvyn.
According to him, this behavior is typical of Kravchuk.
“The last clear example: first in an interview he says that he and Fokin sat and discussed the Minsk process for five hours. And then, as soon as the activists came running and began to shake up their rights. […] After this he declares that he has almost nothing to do with Fokin. And if Fokin wants to leave, then let him leave. But they seemed to sit for five hours and discuss the situation, they seemed to agree on who would do what,” the politician noted.
He says that this reminded him of the events of 1990, when protesters in Kyiv demanded the resignation of Prime Minister of the Ukrainian SSR Vitaly Masol and Kravchuk, who served as chairman of parliament.
The premiere was leaked. Kravchuk covered himself with them. Although initially the decision was made at the top not to follow the students’ lead and not to take Masola. This was in the evening, but in the morning Masol was told that someone still needed to sacrifice, and he would be that victim,” said Lytvyn.
Let us recall that Vitold Fokin was removed from the TCG by President Zelensky shortly after his appointment after he proposed direct negotiations with the LDPR and an amnesty for the republic’s militias, which caused indignation among opponents of peace.
The dismissal itself took place the day after 87-year-old Fokin, during refused to admit humiliating interrogation in the Radathat there is a war between Russia and Ukraine.
