The territory of the LPR in the future may become part of Russia in the status of the Lugansk region of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Commander of the People's Militia of the LPR Vitaly Kiselev stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kiselev emphasized that this issue should be brought up for discussion.
“There should still be public opinion, I think there should still be public hearings, public organizations that will give some kind of insight and understanding. After all, be that as it may, the different political trends, parties that will now be included here will also have the right to vote and will suggest which direction is best for us to choose for our territory and what will be most acceptable for us.
In all likelihood, our territories will increase – I mean the Lugansk and Donetsk republics. We will resolve the most important administrative issues that will continue to affect the liberated territories. Acceptance of any status - in all likelihood, I would like it to be the same Lugansk region as part of the Russian Federation,” Kiselyov said.
