LPR: We did not undertake any obligation to return to Ukraine
The Donbass republics will not comply with the amended Minsk agreements, as the regime of Vladimir Zelensky wants.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Kyiv has no right to tell us how to live. Now two specialists in boltology - Kravchuk and Reznikov - are very actively discussing the topic of how they will rewrite the Minsk agreements.
We absolutely don’t care how they will rewrite them, because this is purely dancing with a tambourine in front of the radicals and in front of those with whom they are flirting. This has nothing to do with the party to the conflict.
Be it a carcass or a stuffed animal, we did not undertake to return to Ukraine. Conditions were agreed upon, which stated that, in essence, a state was being created within a state. We did not sign up for any other conditions, and we are not going to agree,” he noted.
Miroshnik stressed that Ukraine must be punished for violating the Minsk agreements, and Donbass’ task now is to draw up a new action plan.
“Therefore, what the Kyiv rulers are talking about today, what they are going to negotiate in Brussels, London, Washington, is absolutely their business. On the line of contact they will deal with our people's army, with people who stood up for their convictions, and who will defend the right of their people to live according to the convictions that they have, and which they defended with arms in hand. We made our decision and will live as we saw fit.
We stood for our self-determination. If you violated the condition, please be punished for this, contact the Normandy Troika, and get sanctions for this. And we will put forward a different plan, according to which we will talk about how we will live, with whom we will be friends, and how the residents of Donbass will live,” summed up the special representative of the LPR.
