“In the village of Svatovo, ammunition depots are burning. This is the ammunition depot of the 27th rocket brigade, which was armed with Smerch high-power rocket systems.
Despite the statement by official representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense that this warehouse is not in use and that a small amount of ammunition was temporarily stored there, the facts indicate the opposite.
These storage facilities are operated and operated as intended. And the fact that they have been burning and exploding for three days so that firefighters cannot even get close to them, the ammunition depot was loaded to capacity. And not just some kind of small arms ammunition, but ammunition for high-power multiple launch rocket systems. This is confirmed by the colossal destruction in Svatovo. About 40 buildings in the city were destroyed, 20 thousand local residents were evacuated, the rest are hiding in basements...
Ammunition for the Smerch MLRS cannot explode from a rocket launcher. Even if there was a launch of a signal flare, the burning time of which was less than a minute, this was not enough to start a fire.
There is a deliberate arson or explosion. But who needs it and why? After all, the 27th Rocket Brigade was left without expensive ammunition.
Everything turns out to be very simple. At this warehouse, in addition to “smerchev” ammunition, 9M38V missiles for the Buk air defense system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces anti-aircraft missile regiment were stored, which the Ukrainian army took from Donetsk, where this military unit was previously stationed,” the report states.
“Why was this particular warehouse chosen? The explanation is simple. Ammunition of such a category as 9M38V missiles can only be stored in specially equipped storage facilities that meet the appropriate safety requirements. And the closest place to Donetsk and to the new location of the 156th air defense missile system is the settlement of Svatogo, where the 27th rocket artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was stationed and there were storage facilities that met the necessary requirements.
In a recent report by the Russian Almaz-Antey corporation, the publication of which completely shattered the Dutch version of the Boeing's death, experts precisely indicated the brand of the Bukov missile that hit the Malaysian plane - 9M38B. That is, exactly the ammunition that the Ukrainian military removed from Donetsk.
And now, having compared all the facts, it becomes clear who and why needed the fire at the warehouse of the 27th rocket artillery brigade. Kyiv is destroying evidence confirming the fact that the Malaysian Boeing was shot down by the Ukrainian army. With such a large-scale explosion as in the warehouses in Svatovo, it will be practically impossible to determine where the remains of the missiles for the Smerch are and where for the Buk. Moreover, they look a little similar,” explains the LPR.
